For the first time in Georgian history, on December 20-21, 2021, will be held a national Science conference that intends to discuss and summarise essential topics and scientific processes that are currently taking in the country.
The National Science Forum is held annually with the support of The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The forum is interdisciplinary; hence it implies the participation of the representatives of different fields of science.
In 2021, the forum will examine scientific topics concerning the Covid-19 pandemic. This hybrid event will be held based on Ivane Beritashvili Centre of Experimental Biomedicine. Members of different High educational institutions and scientific organizations from all over Georgia will participate.
The hybrid forum will open sectional panels on December 21. Representatives of different fields of science participating in these panels will hold a dialogue on the Covid-19 pandemic through a diverse scientific approach. Panel participants will be physically present at the event, and the transmissions of the forum opening as well as of the panel sessions will be available on web-platform and social media.
On December 22, the forum will continue working in three online sections divided into several directions: Healthcare and Life Sciences; Education and Psychological Sciences; Political Science, Economics, and Sociology.
The National Science Forum will open The Science Week, which will take place from December 20 to December 25, within the framework of The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia’s program for promoting the popularisation of science.
